Pipeline - The Online Conference for Innovative Product Development

During one of the breakout sessions, Dave Lundahl, Ph.D., Founder of InsightsNow, Inc. will deliver an on-demand presentation entitled, Behavior-Driven Innovation: Win the Market. Win the Moment. During the session, Dave will discuss how behavioral economics has replaced classical supply and demand economics to predict consumer behavior. Yet, most companies, particularly consumer packaged goods manufacturers continue to use a supply and demand approach to innovation - they develop new products differentiated by features and functionality, and then push them out to markets through trade spending to generate demand.

The discussion focused on behavioral innovation and how it's revolutionizing food product development and design to encourage more healthful consumption behaviors.
